Ranchi–Patratu Dam Road
Part of the Jharkhand Accelerated Road Development Program conceived to provide better connectivity between towns of Jharkhand, this 4/2 lane road connects the cities of Ranchi and Patratu.
Innovations and Impact
- With five major bridges, the project covers 35 kms. The road passes through hilly terrain and has some very aesthetically designed curves.
- This project covers most of the important places in this stretch of the city, such as Governor House, Judge Colony, CM House, RINPAS, CCL, CMPDI and Birsa Agricultural College.
- Road widening has improved the inter-city accessibility and boosted local businesses, shopping and services like hospitals.
